| Variety Gala Show - Blackpool, 30th November 2007 | Variety Parade - Glamour will take centre stage as Variety Parade presents a stunning spectacle, combining the
nostalgia of old variety performance with exciting and sparkling acts from the world of new variety. Neo-variety (as it has been tagged by certain fashionistas) is variety at its most exciting in years and Variety Parade is a chance to celebrate the truly egalitarian spirit in which theatres such as Blackpool's Grand Theatre, the UK's National Theatre of Variety, were built. Variety Parade will mix bawdy new acts with astounding high-end guests from the Tower Circus as well as from Equity's Variety section. Matcham Tour - There are 100 places on four timed tours of Matcham architectural gems in Blackpool. On Saturday 1st December the first 100 people to sign up when they buy their ticket to the Variety show will be taken on a tour that will lead them from the Grand Theatre down to the Tower Circus and Ballroom and then end at The Winter Gardens and will look at the beauty and wealth of Matcham architecture that remains in the town. The show takes place on Friday 30 November 2007, compered by BBC Radio 4 'Just a Minute' host Nicholas Parsons, under the banner of the National Theatre of Variety in association with Equity and on Saturday 1st December 2007, compered by Miss Behave, and has been co-produced by the Whoopee Agency. At last, after nearly two years on and off but with consistency in the last three months, Rainbow has mastered the art of the slack rope. He is keen to show his new circus art off and is building a show around it which should be first exposed next week in Guernsey. |

Rainbow is now in the proud position of Chairman of Clowns International. On the 14th April 2005 Rainbow took
part in a recording with Joan Rivers for a show that was shown on Channel 5 early in July. Others in the show included
clowns and Model Jodi Kidd. |
| November 2004 Sonny and Rainbow have been chosen to attend "The Stage" Showcase. They will be performing a ten minute spot on Monday 8th November, before a selected audience (time to be confirmed). The lads are most delighted to be part of such a prestigious event. Please look out for their preview and report in "The Stage" newspaper over the coming weeks. The first showing of a walk about Gondola with a traditional Gondolier took place in Harrods Toy department on Saturday 25th
September 2004.This walk about prop and character is fully equipped with Italian music to meet the most romantic evenings or days and will be in Harrods for for a further three Saturdays. |

Sonny and Rainbow have made their mark on the other side of the globe by winning gold medals in the World Clown Convention.They took part in the group skit contest in New Mexico and were delighted to triumph over all their international rivals. Sonny and Rainbow competed against 26 other groups of clowns at the event, with a routine aping a male and female duck with use of whistles. Gordon (Rainbow) said: "It was a fantastic experience. We visited an Indian reserve and did a couple of shows and we took part in the main show, produced by a clown from Sweden. "Including us there were only four clowns from the UK. See Photo's HERE |
| January 2004 Sonny (Gary McBeth) and Rainbow (Gordon Sharpe), have been on their travels. Due to their unique way of clowning and quick wit they were asked to represent England for the New Years celebrations in Hong Kong.
